Quality System Certified
We are ISO9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 certified. Our ongoing commitment to certification to these internationally recognized quality management systems (QMS) has allowed us to realize improved customer satisfaction, better decision making, employee engagement, improved supplier relationships and a systematic cycle of continuous improvement.
Canadian Controlled Goods Program
Viable Power is registered with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and all employees have been assessed and cleared to examine, possess or transfer controlled goods. Viable Power complies with International Traffic in Arms Registration (ITAR) by means of our CGP registration. We fully comply with the requirements of the CGP which was created to strengthen the Canada/US agreement on defense trade controls.
Joint Certification Program
Viable power is registered with the Joint Certification Program (JCP). The JCP allows Canadian contractors to apply for access to the US Department of Defense unclassified export control technical data technology on an equally favorable basis in accordance with DODI 5330.25. This allows Viable Power to bid on and execute DOD contracts that involves access to export controlled technical information.
Workmanship Standards
Our electronic assemblers are trained and certified to IPC-J-STD-001. Our quality control inspectors are trained and certified to IPC-A-610. We manufacture all products to Class 3 requirements. Viable Power stands by each and every product manufactured for the lifetime of that product.
